North Valley students recognized for academic achievements

Colgate University, a private liberal arts college in Hamilton, N.Y., announced that several Valley students from Paradise Valley and Scottsdale have been awarded for their academic achievements during the spring 2022 semester.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses earn the spring 2022 Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence, a press release stated.

Joshua Belgrad from Paradise Valley, a member of the class of 2023, earned the spring 2022 Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. Belgrad is a film and media studies major and a graduate of Brophy College Preparatory.

Additionally from Scottsdale, Natalie Ringel, a graduate of New Trier Township High School, and Joanne Kim, a graduate of Millburn High School, earned the Dean’s Award with Distinction during the spring 2022 semester.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade during the spring 2022 semester earn this award.
