North Phoenix spec industrial project hopes to house TSMC supplier

A 26-acre speculative industrial project in north Phoenix has received approval from the city. The developer is pitching the property to be used to produce supplies for the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company plant about five miles away.

The development, The Opus Group, says the project at 15th Avenue and Alameda Road is planned for completion in October. TSMC has had a set back in hiring for its 1,100-acre plant and now expects to begin operations in 2025 rather than 2024.
