North Phoenix mosque shooter who used paintballs, pellets is indicted

A 30-year-old man was indicted Wednesday by the Maricopa County Attorney’s office following a March 7 shooting outside of a north Phoenix mosque, according to a release.

Michael Abel Dominguez was indicted on nine charges: six counts of aggravated assault, one of possession or use of a narcotic drug, one count of possession or use of dangerous drugs, and one count of aggravated criminal damage.

According to the release, Dominguez allegedly fired a paint and pellet gun at people inside of the Islamic Center of North Phoenix. No one was injured, but rounds did strike cars at the mosque.
