A crash Wednesday night killed a 30-year-old man who lost control of his motorcycle and collided with another vehicle.
Police saw the motorcycle “violating multiple traffic laws” at about 7:25 p.m. June 18 near Canterbury Drive and Thunderbird Road, according to a release.
Officers were unable to catch up to the motorcycle to conduct a traffic stop, and the driver traveled north on Canterbury Drive when it lost control and was involved in a collision with another vehicle, police said.

A crash Wednesday night killed a 30-year-old man who lost control of his motorcycle and collided with another vehicle.
Police saw the motorcycle “violating multiple traffic laws” at about 7:25 p.m. June 18 near Canterbury Drive and Thunderbird Road, according to a release.
Officers were unable to catch up to the motorcycle to conduct a traffic stop, and the driver traveled north on Canterbury Drive when it lost control and was involved in a collision with another vehicle, police said.
The motorcycle was engulfed in flames, and police found Obed Manriquez Jr., who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other vehicle involved remained at the scene. No one else was injured.
