SUN CITY WEST - Norma Lee Cannon Wildridge passed away peacefully on Jun. 7, 2015 surrounded by love. A native of Baltimore, MD, she married George B. Wildridge, Jr. on Dec. 24, 1948 in San Francisco, Calif. Ultimately, they settled in Upstate New York and retired to Sun City West in 1991. Together they had five children, all of whom are contributing members of society. "Lee" and George traveled widely, in Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Canada, and much of the United States. She enjoyed reading, music, the performing arts, and had a particular talent with home decoration, providing a comfortable and warm environment for her family for over 66 years An independent, intelligent and private woman, Lee brought dedication, harmony and excellence to the offices where she was employed as a Private Secretary to: Robert Guthrie, Children's Hospital in Buffalo, NY; the Director of Cease Commissary Food Services Systems at the University of Buffalo; the President of Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY, and the Headmaster at Manlius Pebble Hill School in DeWitt. NY. Upon moving to Sun City West, a retirement community in Arizona in 1991, she was employed as a Home Owner Coordinator by the Del Webb Corporation. Since retiring in 2001 she has been engaged in a number of private pursuits. These have been family oriented and have included vacations on the east coast and other points of interest. She was predeceased by her her mother, Pearl Lankford Cannon; her father, James Rufus Cannon; and brother, James Allen Cannon (Betty). She is survived by her husband, George B. Jr.; five children; and 11 grandchildren, all of whom played major roles in her life; Geoffry B. (Carolyn) - Diana and Zoe of Fairbanks, AK; Allison of Williamsburg, VA; George B. III "Trey" (Susan) - George IV, William IV, and Page of Hamden, Conn.; William N. III (Pamela) - Sarah, Laura, Peter and Ryan of Syracuse, N.Y.; Andrew C. (Jill) - Sydney and Megan of Phoenix. She is also survived by her brother, Richard L. Cannon (Rose) Baltimore, MD.
