Nonprofit offers acting classes for kids

The Parsons Drama Club, a newly launched 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to high-quality entertainment training for young performers, is officially debuting in Arizona this weekend with a two-day kickoff of acting classes led by acclaimed L.A.-based acting coach John D’Aquino.

Founded by mother-daughter duo Adriana and Stella Parsons, Parsons Drama Club was created to support aspiring actors by connecting them with trusted, top-tier training programs through scholarships and partnerships, rather than direct funding, ensuring both access and safety in an often challenging industry.

D’Aquino, a veteran actor and acting coach known for his work on “Hannah Montana,” “Cory in the House,” “Seinfeld,” “NCIS” and “CSI” will bring his comedy and on-camera audition classes to Scottsdale on Jan. 24-25, with sessions starting at 9 a.m. daily.
