Non-potable water to fill lakes in south Apache Junction

The Apache Junction Water Utilities Community Facilities District is considering penning an agreement with the sewer district to use non-potable water to fill lakes and irrigate grassy areas in recently auctioned and retained Arizona State Trust Land.

The Apache Junction water district board, comprised of City Council members, was briefed Sept. 21 on the non-potable water agreement with Superstition Mountains Community Facilities District No. 1, the sewer district.
