Non-potable water reservoir contract approved in Apache Junction

The first phase of installing a non-potable water reservoir in the city of Apache Junction has been approved with a $1.1 million agreement for administration and inspection services.

The water utilities community facilities district board — comprised of Apache Junction City Council members — voted 6-0 on Nov. 15 to approve an agreement with Carollo Engineers Inc. for phase 1 non-potable water reservoir and booster pump station construction administration and inspection services for a total not to exceed $1,187,193. Vice Chair Christa Rizzi was absent.
