The 2024 Valley Favorites nomination continues until Oct. 31, giving the public a chance to spotlight their favorite local businesses without any entry fees.

Nominators can spotlight businesses in East Valley Favorites, West Valley Favorites, Fountain Hills Favorites, and Scottsdale Favorites, showcasing local gems throughout the entire Phoenix Metro area.

Nominations can be made in categories such as arts and entertainment, community, food and drink, health, fitness and wellness, home and garden, professional services, shopping and beauty, and vehicles and services.

Highlighting local businesses through nominations not only supports the community but also helps to strengthen the local economy, foster connections, and celebrate the unique offerings that make each area special.

People can easily nominate their favorite businesses by visiting the designated Valley Favorites websites and submitting their choices online during the nomination period.

Each nominator may cast one nomination per category per day. In the first round, any name can be written in, and nominees will not be revealed until the voting phase.

The voting phase will start on December 1st, 2024, and voters will choose their favorite from the top 5 nominees in each category before voting closes on December 31st.

The results will be tabulated, and winners will be announced on February 1st, 2025.

It's important to note that the business must be located in or do business in the area they are being nominated for to qualify for the ballot; businesses from any other area will not be included.

Additionally, any form of ballot stuffing is prohibited, and voters suspected of unfair practices, such as using fake accounts or third-party vendors, will be disqualified.

Once on the site, nominators can write in their preferred businesses in the available categories on the nomination form.

After the nomination round concludes, the top five nominees in each category will advance to the voting phase, where the public can cast their votes to determine the winners.

Each category will have one winner based on the highest number of votes, ensuring that the businesses recognized truly reflect the community's favorites.

Nominations are open to any business located within the Phoenix Metro area, including local establishments as well as chain stores and franchises, allowing voters to decide which businesses they want to show support for.

Local businesses also have the option to enhance their visibility through Valley Favorites advertising packages, which include ad spots on the nomination ballot, placements in print publications, and exposure on yourvalley.net. While these packages offer greater promotional opportunities, they do not guarantee a win in the contest.
