ADOT halts weekend freeway work for Labor Day

Drivers heading out of the Valley for the Labor Day weekend will not face any scheduled freeway restrictions, state transportation officials said.

But, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation, motorists should expect heavy traffic Friday and Monday afternoons on highways that lead to the high country, beaches and Las Vegas.
