More than three weeks after a San Tan Valley teen was beaten at a house party in Queen Creek and later died, police say no arrests have yet been made but the investigation is seeing progress.
On Oct. 28, 16-year-old Combs High School student Preston Lord was assaulted at a party in Queen Creek near 194th Street and Via Del Rancho. He died of his injuries on Oct. 30. QCPD launched a homicide investigation.
A press release this afternoon from the Queen Creek Police Department stated that while “specific details cannot be released at this time to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation, significant progress has been made.”
