No. 3 TCU holds off No. 2 Michigan 51-45 in Fiesta Bowl semifinal

TCU will play No. 1 Georgia in National Championship

The small school is on to the big game.

No. 3 TCU is the smallest school by enrollment to make the college football playoff, but the Horned Frogs upset traditional college football powerhouse No. 2 Michigan 51-45 Saturday in the highest-scoring Fiesta Bowl ever to advance to the national championship.

After the win Saturday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, TCU will play No. 1 Georgia in the National Championship game Monday, Jan. 9 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
