Night Life: While everyone else sleeps, graveyard workers keep Glendale running

Common ground at all stops include a devotion to the night shift yet searching for sleep

The quiet solitude of night is when the city sleeps.

Residents rest for the busy pace ahead when routines will fuel the day’s energy. The population takes a break from bouncing off each other in the familiar frenzy that arrives when the sun comes up.

There’s a select few, however, who find themselves in go-mode during the overnights. The graveyard shifts.
