'Night for Sight' gala in Scottsdale to benefit Foundation for Blind Children
The Foundation for Blind Children's annual "Night for Sight" gala returns in October, hosted at a Scottsdale steakhouse.
“There’s been plenty of things I wasn’t supposed to do but I wouldn’t accept no. I kept going,” 18-year-old Adonis Watt said in a press release. He developed congenital glaucoma after jumping in a pool when he was five. Still, Watt has conquered school, football fields, basketball courts, tracks and more without sight.
Foundation for Blind Children’s annual “Night for Sight” presented by Ambassador Don Tapia celebrates students and clients just like Watt. Veronica Watt, Adonis’ mother, credits FBC for her son’s success.
