New YES tech center: 100 new Chandler jobs to be created

When Yield Engineering Systems held its ribbon-cutting ceremony July 27, Ramakanth Alapati pointed out that the company, known as YES, has been in the semiconductor business since 1980.

“That’s a pretty old company by semiconductor standards,” Alapati said. “We’re from the Flintstone age.”

Alapati is the managing director/partner of KCK US Inc. He was one of the speakers as YES opened what it calls its Advanced Technology Center on Germann Road, in a business park just west of Price Road.
