The Arizona Department of Health Services reported the number of COVID-19 cases in Goodyear’s 85338 and 85395 ZIP codes was 3,758 as of Friday, Nov. 20, a 6.04% increase over last Friday and a 1.16% increase over Thursday. That represents an increase of 214 new cases over the week and 43 cases overnight.
The number of new weekly cases in Goodyear continues to soar. The 214 cases reported this week is 138% higher than the 90 new cases reported the week ending Oct. 16, the last time the number of weekly cases reported in Goodyear was less than 100.
