For those who have ever had trouble finding a parking spot or a reasonably priced lot in downtown Phoenix, the city is trying to help.
City staff announced the goals of a 10-year downtown parking master plan during a subcommittee meeting last week. The most immediate change will be the new ParkPHX.com, which will help residents and visitors find parking that fits their priorities, such as location, price, valet parking or electric vehicle charging stations.
Councilmember Ann O’Brien, chair of the Economic Development and Housing Committee, said anything to help make parking easier is a big help.
