Final results: Queen Creek school bond fails

Maricopa County Elections reports final results

Maricopa County Elections is reporting its final results for the Nov. 7 election and Queen Creek Unified School District’s $98 million bond proposal and the continuance of a 15% maintenance and operations budget override has unofficially failed.

The results are not considered official until they are officially canvassed by the county.

In the bond election, 59.38%, or 8,425 residents, cast their votes against the school bond. By comparison, there were 5,764 “yes” votes at 40.62%.
