The Peoria Police Department Honor Guard is rolling a lot easier these days, thanks to a little help from their friends.
The group celebrated the dedication of a new trailer, Jan. 22, allowing them to better haul equipment for events and training in the Valley and throughout the state.
“The honor guard is a vital part of our agency and services as a department’s representative at various events throughout the year, to include fallen officer funerals, academy graduations, and other formal events put on by the city and/or the police department,” said Det. Michael Griffin.
