New southeast Phoenix council members pledge to give a voice to all residents

The two new members of Phoenix City Council pledged to give a voice to all residents of their districts as they were sworn in last week.

Kesha Hodge Washington, representing District 8, and Kevin Robinson, representing District 6, became new members of Phoenix City Council last week after winning their runoff elections in March. Their districts cover east and southeast Phoenix.

Incumbent council members Laura Pastor and Jim Waring also were sworn into new terms.
