New single from Phoenix blues man Sugaray Rayford

Decorated soul blues singer on tour all summer

One of the Valley’s – and the world’s – finest blues men is never without a message. Or a hot groove for that matter.

Sugaray Rayford delivers both on his brand-new single, “How The Other Half Lives,” released July 11 on Forty Below Records.

With his signature soul-blues sound, Rayford followed up his 2024 album “Human Decency” with the new single for the summer. Its chorus – “When the waters get muddy, take it slow, go with the flow” – is a reminder to everyone to handle problems life throws at us by first treating one another the right way.
