New relief funds making way into Peoria

The city of Peoria continues to have a number of programs underway to help those most affected by the pandemic thanks to federal funds from the American Rescue Plan Act.

And the federal money backing those programs continues to roll in.

In total, the city will receive $20.7 million in direct aid from this act — $10.38 million was delivered May 11 and the same amount will be delivered in May 2022.
