A new 40-bed physical rehabilitation hospital is planned for 3.7 acres near 94th Drive and Thunderbird Road within the Plaza Del Rio master development.
The Peoria Planning and Zoning Commission approved a conditional-use permit to allow for the hospital that will provide post-acute surgical care and physical therapy services for patients.
The purpose of the conditional-use permit is to ensure compatibility with the surrounding area, consistency with the Peoria general plan, and that the use is not injurious to the health, safety, and general welfare of the community.
