Most music fans attend festivals to take in the scene and lose their inhibitions. Julian Nguyen found inspiration – twice.
Nguyen, who also goes by “Julz,” found himself at the Day for Night art and music festival in Houston in 2016, where the focus was a blend of performing musicians with art installations throughout the experience. Later he was at the EDC, or Electric Daisy Carnival, festival in Las Vegas, featuring the likes of Björk, Travis Scott, Kamasi Washington, and Thundercat.
It was more of the same blend.
