A total of 97 commercial building permits were issued July 23-Sept. 30 in Mesa.

A sampling from the city’s website (by address, date issued, description, value, type of work and contractor or applicant) are:

• 1008 E. Southern Ave.; Oct. 9; new 2,341-square-foot shell building for a future Ono’s Hawaiian BBQ restaurant with a 465-square-foot patio; $577,054; commercial/industrial projects; AZ Carreon Construction LLC.
