The city of Surprise is ready to move forward on its low-income senior housing project in the Original Town Site.
And it couldn’t come soon enough for Surprise Council Member Ken Remley, who serves the area in District 4.
“This is a proud moment,” Remley said at the March 21 City Council meeting. “This project sets the bar for what a city is doing about the homeless situation and about the low-income housing situation that we’ve heard about all over this country. For the West Valley, we are setting the bar.”
