The bowling lanes in Sun City West are brand new and up to industry standard for residents’ play.
The Johnson Lanes at the Sports Pavilion, 19803 W. R.H. Johnson Blvd., went through a scoring system change three years ago, according to Barry Hardesty Johnson Lanes Sports Pavilion manager. The bowling lanes flooring replacement was also recently done at a cost of approximately $311,000 and the ball returns were approximately $109,000.
This past September, Johnson Lanes reopened with the new lanes in place, and Hardesty said residents are thrilled with the upgrade.
