New El Mirage Emergency Room will provide healthcare to El Mirage and surrounding area

El Mirage —When the new 7,500 square foot El Mirage Emergency Room opens next year, it will provide El Mirage with its first emergency room in the area.
The emergency room will be staffed 24/7 with an emergency medical team of physicians, RN’s and medical staff.

“The El Mirage Emergency Room is a physician-operated 24-hour free standing emergency department that will bring more to the area than just the convenience of an emergency room,” said Dr. Meka Ezeume, President and CEO of the El Mirage Emergency Room.
The facility will offer diagnostic testing, imaging, laboratory services and 24-hour medical observation beds/rooms.
Rapid evaluation of every patient ensures that the ER can quickly determine the level of care needed, start diagnostic treatments, order medications and begin life-saving interventions.
The facility plans to accept ambulances shortly after opening and will treat both adults and children. EMER honors all in-network benefits for emergency services and accepts all insurance plans.
“Residents of El Mirage and the surrounding area will have the advantage of being able to arrive in the emergency room in just a few short minutes,” said Dr. Ezeume.
Construction is underway, with an expected Fall 2023 finish date. EMER plans to bring approximately 40-60 high paying jobs to the area and will be actively interviewing and hiring many healthcare professionals who live in the area.
