New Earnhardt Chevrolet being built in Queen Creek

Posted

Construction has started on a new Earnhardt Chevrolet dealership in Queen Creek.

Expected to be completed by the summer of 2024, the 70,000-suare-foot facility will be located near the intersection of Cloud and Ellsworth roads, marking a new location and a new brand for the family-run Earnhardt Auto Centers, a press release from Earnhardt Auto Centers stated.

“With this new store, the Earnhardt family is proud to offer the dynamic Chevrolet brand and historic ‘No Bull’ way of doing business to the Queen Creek community,” stated Derby Earnhardt, dealer principal and long-time resident of Queen Creek, in the release. “We’ll bring a new car shopping experience as well as good jobs and community outreach to this incredible town.”

As a full-service store, Earnhardt Chevrolet in Queen Creek will feature a state-of-the-art showroom with modern amenities for shoppers. A modern service department will have well-equipped service bays and a staff of accredited Chevrolet technicians. A large parts store will offer Chevrolet parts, GM accessories and a full selection of tires, along with an array of maintenance services for virtually any make or model of vehicle, the release stated.

“The Earnhardt family welcomes the many high-tech changes in the automotive industry,” Christopher Kerr, Earnhardt’s vice president of marketing stated in the release. “The Chevrolet brand is an excellent example of automotive progress, including the electrification of many of its most popular models.”

He noted that the Equinox EV, Blazer EV and Chevy Bolt offer family choices, while the Silverado EV will be the electric truck for businesses. Most recently, the Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray entered the electric marketplace as a high-end sports car.

“Of course, Chevrolet’s backbone is its popular SUV lineup, midsize Colorado truck and full-size Silverado,” stated General Manager Jason Gourd in the release. “We look forward to bringing these quality vehicles to our new location in Queen Creek.”

When completed, the new Chevrolet dealership will employ approximately 110 people for its sales, service, parts and financing departments. Earnhardt Auto Centers already form a large employer in the Valley, providing more than 2,000 jobs across the region, the release stated.

Information an updates on the new dealership will be posted on https://www.EarnhardtChevrolet.com/QueenCreek.
