Approvals toward the construction of one of the most popular “big box” stores is one of the two development items on the consent agenda for Wednesday’s Chandler Planning & Zoning Commission meeting.
Rezoning to a zone C-2 planned-area development, or PAD, along with approval of a preliminary development plan, are what developer Kimley-Horn is seeking for what would be the second Costco location in Chandler.
The plan includes a 144,000-square-foot, 34-foot-tall building and a gas station on the 18.6-acre site on the southwest corner of Alma School and Pecos, next to Loop 202 and an apartment complex.
