New Chandler buses won’t arrive until 2025

A contract for a $5.61 million purchase of 30 various-sized buses was one of the few action items approved by the Chandler Unified School Governing Board at Wednesday’s meeting.

However, the Canyon State Bus Sales contract won’t lead to any buses showing up on CUSD’s doorstep any time soon.

Tom Dunn, the district’s executive director for support services, said the buses won’t arrive until sometime in 2025.
