New barbecue restaurant moves forward with Florence location

Town officials met with Your Behind BBQ Birds and Bones to end impasse

Residents who had waited for opening day were left wondering what was going on when the windows for Your Behind BBQ Birds and Bones on Main Street were covered and the sign went down.

“We thought that we were at our wit’s end, and we said, ‘OK, we’re done,’ and we were going to do something different,” said Jerry Mataszewski, who along with his son, Kyle, owns the barbecue restaurant.
