New ASU library exhibit sheds light on little-known Holocaust history

‘Holocaust by Bullets’ now open at Hayden Library

Way before gas chambers and concentration camps, Jews across Eastern Europe were murdered in organized shootings.

That’s the subject of a new exhibit open at Hayden Library on Arizona State University’s Tempe campus. ‘Holocaust by Bullets: 10 Years of Investigation’ features testimony from witness, photos and other visuals to illustrate a little-known facet of the Nazis’ deadly work. The exhibit also features presentations by Father Patrick Desbois, whose research was integral, and Rachael Cerrotti, the inaugural storyteller in residence for the USC Shoah Foundation.

Originally scheduled for the spring of 2020, the scaled back exhibit and corresponding educational programs return to the Valley until April 17. The exhibit was brought to Arizona by the Phoenix Holocaust Association.
