New Arizona license plates celebrate work of Phoenix, Scottsdale nonprofits

Specialty license plates linked to the work of Thunderbird Charities and the Scottsdale Charros were revealed Monday by the Arizona Department of Transportation.

They were among four new license plates unveiled. The others recognize Arizona 4-H and congenital heart defect awareness.

“We are extremely excited to have a specialty license plate that will highlight Thunderbirds Charities and what The Thunderbirds do in the community,” said Michael Golding, president of Thunderbirds Charities.
