New apartments restore Frank Lloyd Wright building

Avala, a new luxury rental home community by MODUS Companies, has officially broken ground.

The 94-residence-development is the first single-family rental community in Scottsdale to earn the Net Zero Energy Ready designation, offering residents the potential to reduce energy costs by 50% to 70% , when compared to traditionally built homes, according to a press release.

The development also includes the restoration of a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed building, bringing new life to a unique piece of architectural history on the site.
