New ALDI in Glendale to open this week

Almost six years after ALDI first submitted designs to the city’s planning department for a new location, ALDI in Glendale opens this week.

The newest store opens at 8 a.m. Thursday, April 27. The new location is at 59th Avenue and Bell Road, at 16880 N. 59th Ave.

The new store will be the 10th ALDI location in Arizona. ALDI also has West Valley stores in Peoria — at 24665 N. Lake Pleasant Parkway — and in Goodyear, at 845 N. Estrella Parkway.
