Neighbors speak against townhomes planned along canal in Mesa

A 30-unit townhome project planned along a canal about 2,000 feet north of the northwest corner of East Brown Road and North Greenfield Road in Mesa is drawing concerns from nearby neighbors.

The development’s look and landscaping were discussed by the Mesa Design Review Board at an April 14 meeting. Board members David Winstanley and Megan Neal were absent.

The request previously came before the design review board in 2022, Staff Planner Jennifer Merrill said during the meeting.
