Surprise-area groups that plan community events, functions or improvements to their neighborhood now can be eligible for city grant money.
The Surprise City Council recently approved funding to support the Neighborhood Grant Program with $10,000 available in fiscal year 2024.
The city has scheduled a pre-application meeting that will include information about the program and the application process. It’s set for 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, at Surprise City Hall Council Overflow Room, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.
