Negotiations at play as Arizona short-term rental reform advances

It isn’t the bill the Town of Paradise Valley was hoping for, but officials are attempting to get a modicum of tighter legislation into Senate Bill 1379 before it advances.

Lobbyists representing Paradise Valley and other Arizona entities say efforts are being made to include amendments surrounding occupation limits, density and large lot exclusions to the bill.

These amendments would allow local leaders to support the bill, Paradise Valley Mayor Jerry Bien-Willner says.
