Some Sun City residents are looking to the Recreation Centers of Sun City Board of Directors to resolve an access issue at the Oakmont Center pool, 10725 W. Oakmont Drive.
The pool includes lap lanes and a spa used by some residents. In addition, there is a large area where the Water Volleyball Club plays its matches. The swimmers contend the club’s use limits their access to stairs and a ramp into the lap pool and spa area. They also complain that the Water Volleyball Club keeps getting approval for more time in the pool.
“They started out with three days per week for three hours each and it kept increased until now they have four days for four hours,” said James Beardsley. “Now they want three evenings per week in addition to all that.”
