Native Grill in Surprise changes hands

Surprise location sold to Kind Hospitality

Posted

Kind Hospitality announced the acquisition of three Native Grill and Wings restaurants throughout the Valley, including the Surprise location.

The locations are Native Grill and Wings in Surprise at 13929 W. Waddell Road, Native Grill and Wings at Metro Center at 10004 N. 26th Drive in Phoenix and Native Grill and Wings in Glendale at 7273 N. 85th Ave.

“We are extremely dedicated to maintaining and representing some of the Valley’s most popular longtime restaurant brands,” said Nava Singam, owner and CEO of Kind Hospitality, which recently inked a deal to bring nine beloved Fazoli’s restaurants back to the Phoenix area as well. “We believe strongly in the Arizona restaurant industry and aim to provide an unparalleled experience that combines delicious food, great service, fun and memories at each of our restaurants.”

The Surprise and Glendale locations were purchased in mid-March from Al and Cathy Saleh, who owned and operated the restaurants for more than 15 years. This was a seamless transition with Kind Hospitality retaining all current employees.

Kind Hospitality obtained the Metro Center restaurant in February following a September 2021 closure by previous ownership. This location recently reopened March 30.

Established in Phoenix in 1979, Native Grill and Wings has since grown to include multiple locations around the Southwest. The brand offers a family-friendly sports bar environment with excellent food and customer service. It features a wide array of menu options such as wings, pizzas, sliders and burgers, sandwiches, fish, gluten-friendly specialties and more.

With a franchise portfolio of 25 locations across well-recognized Valley favorites such as Macayo’s Mexican Food, O.H.S.O. Brewery, Barrio Brewing Co., and Copper Plate, an American Grill, Kind Hospitality specializes in offering elevated dining experiences at airport and street side quick service restaurants.

With continued growth, Kind Hospitality is constantly looking for dynamic individuals to join their team.
