Multiple vehicles hit, kill man crossing Indian School Road

Detectives are investigating a fatal collision that happened Friday night in Phoenix that took the life of a man who police said was crossing 18th Avenue and Indian School Road.
The collision occurred about 9:25 p.m. June 13. Officers responded and found the man suffering from life-threatening injuries. Phoenix Fire Department personnel took the man to a hospital where he died.
Preliminary information suggests the man was crossing midblock across Indian School Road when he was struck and may have been hit by additional vehicles, police said.

Detectives are investigating a fatal collision that happened Friday night in Phoenix that took the life of a man who police said was crossing 18th Avenue and Indian School Road.
The collision occurred about 9:25 p.m. June 13. Officers responded and found the man suffering from life-threatening injuries. Phoenix Fire Department personnel took the man to a hospital where he died.
Preliminary information suggests the man was crossing midblock across Indian School Road when he was struck and may have been hit by additional vehicles, police said.
The vehicles involved did not remain at the scene, police said.

The man’s identity is pending next-of-kin notifications.
