A 35-year old man was killed Monday night in a multi-car crash in west Phoenix, Phoenix Police said in a release Tuesday.
Officers responded to the area of 67th Avenue and West McDowell Road about 9:40 p.m. regarding a collision resulting in multiple injuries. When officers arrived, they located multiple occupants of vehicles involved with serious injuries, according to a press release.
One of the drivers, later identified as Orlando Cadena, was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Two women occupants of a second vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The male driver of a third vehicle involved was treated by fire on scene for minor injuries.
