Much anticipated Peoria eateries inch closer to groundbreaking

Common Bond project has completed construction documents with the city

It appears the much anticipated Common Bond project in Peoria — featuring popular eateries Postino, North Italia and Blanco — is getting closer to groundbreaking.

During the past six months, Phoenix-based Common Bond Development Group has been going through the permitting process with the city, recently completing construction documents and receiving council approval for a new Series 7 beer and wine liquor license for Postino Peoria.

Peoria’s Economic Development Director Jennifer Stein said the project is generating excitement for the “high-quality” restaurants coming to the area.
