A former Peoria High School varsity boys’ basketball coach and Phoenix Suns superfan has pleaded guilty to three counts of attempting to commit sexual exploitation of a minor.
Patrick Battillo, a Goodyear resident, was arrested in April 2024 on charges he solicited videos and photographs from juveniles engaged in various sex acts, Peoria Police stated in a press release. He was fired soon after his arrest.
Battillo entered his pleas in Maricopa County Superior Court on Monday. The plea deals covered three incidents that took place on Oct. 1, 2023, July 1, 2023, and Feb. 15, 2024, according to court documents.
