A 38-year-old man died at a hospital following a Friday crash in north Phoenix, police said.

The collision occurred just before 9 a.m. June 27 in the 13000 block of North Cave Creek Road where officers found  Todd Keightley suffering from critical injuries. Phoenix Fire Department personnel took him to a hospital, but he did not overcome his injuries, according to a release.

Detectives learned Keightley was driving his motorcycle north on Cave Creek Road and had struck the SUV, which was trying to make a turn from Cave Creek onto Sweetwater Road. The woman driving the SUV stayed at the scene and did not show any signs of intoxication, police said.
