Motorcyclist dies in north Phoenix crash

Phoenix police detectives are investigating a collision that left a motorcyclist dead near 25th Street and Bell Road.

The crash occurred about 2:50 p.m. Nov. 18. When officers arrived, they found Christian Dupont, 28, with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at a hospital, police said.

The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene.

Police said preliminary information suggests that Dupont was eastbound on Bell Road when he collided with a vehicle that was moving left onto 25th Street.  All other details about what led up to the collision will be determined through an accident reconstruction process, police said.
