Mother, daughter died in April 7 Scottsdale crash, police say

A 46-year-old Scottsdale woman and her daughter died in an April 7 crash that remains under investigation, police said Sunday.

Jana Hayden and her juvenile daughter, whose name is being withheld, died in the crash that occurred on the evening of April 7 at Scottsdale Road and Gold Dust Avenue, according to a release.

Police said on the night of the crash Anthony King, 34, was arrested for alleged impairment; however, the investigation is ongoing pending toxicology results.

A 46-year-old Scottsdale woman and her daughter died in an April 7 crash that remains under investigation, police said Sunday.

Jana Hayden and her juvenile daughter, whose name is being withheld, died in the crash that occurred on the evening of April 7 at Scottsdale Road and Gold Dust Avenue, according to a release.

Police said on the night of the crash Anthony King, 34, was arrested for alleged impairment; however, the investigation is ongoing pending toxicology results.

Authorities said they will not be releasing further information until those results are available.
