Mostly positive results recorded in Scottsdale Unified’s latest climate survey

Poll responses satisfied with school culture

After a two-year break, Scottsdale Unified School District has conducted another Hanover Climate Survey, which includes feedback from the district’s students, parents and staff about the cultural climate found in schools.

At the Aug. 16 governing board meeting, a presentation led by Superintendent Scott Menzel and Hanover Research’s Mary Kathryn Maher showed results and analysis from the survey that was collected in May of 2022.

Outlined in the presentation, the total number of people surveyed was 5,392, which was made up of 2,807 students, 1,908 parents, 667 staff members and 10 local community members.
