Most Scottsdale residents recognize the need to invest more in city water system

Some 82%of Scottsdale residents are concerned about the city having enough water for the future, according to the results of a a community water survey done late last year.

Likewise, 81% of city residents felt it was okay to pay more for water in order to invest in Scottsdale’s water quality, reliability and infrastructure, the study showed.

Scottsdale Water spokeswoman Staci Charles shared the results of the survey during the Scottsdale City Council June 25 meeting.
